Features & Benefits of the Eagle Angle Roll BA Series
BA Series Roll Benders produce parts in one pass
using the hydraulic powered lower bending roll which moves upward
toward the top roll to create the desired radius. This Initial Pinch
design maintains in-feed material stock parallel to the shop floor
for reduced material handling and enhanced safety. Machines can be
used in Automatic, Semi-Automatic or in Manual Mode.
Programs can be created easily using multiple
methods via a CAD Graphics Interface. You may input part length,
radius, degrees of bend, arc length or other information and the
machine automatically creates the program. The machine calculates
and interpolates blends and variable radius bends. Our unique MIRROR
IMAGE and REPEAT SHAPE programming features can further reduce
programming time by over 75!%.
Machines use high precision MOOG Servo-Valves in a
Closed Feedback Loop for immediate response with variable speed
micrometric movements. USB and RS232 Ports add flexibility with
peripherals and information storage.
Units are also standard with Air-Oil Heat Exchangers
to maintain Constant Oil Temperature for Higher Precision Rolling,
Vertical/Horizontal Operation (BA35-50), Materials Library,
Self-Diagnostic Software, Industrial Dust & Moisture proof Color LCD
Screen, Automatic Timed Energy Saving Sleep Mode, Integrated
internal hydraulic unit, PC & PLC, Standard Pre-Loaded Programs such
as arches, parabolas, spirals, ovals which can be quickly modified
to match your shape and further speed programming, short shafts to
accept dedicated optional rolls that eliminate interference found on
most other brands, and other versatile, leading edge technology.
BA Series machines offer the Highest Repeat
Precision available in an Affordable Package designed for the
Production Environment. Enhanced safety features include 24VAC Low
Voltage Controls, Dual E-Stop Palm buttons, Flush Electrical Panels,
Mobile Operator Console with trailing lead, ‘Anti-Pinch’ Mill Scale
Covers, and Large Format Pushbuttons and LCD Monitors.

Optional Tooling and accessories
Tooling for BA Machines are designed and dedicated
to each production rolling application and are priced optional. We
design and manufacture custom tooling in steel or polymer material
for a wide variety of special profiles and extrusions. Tooling is
produced in-house.
Tooling for many tube sizes are often in-stock for BA Machines.
A Start Cycle Sensor is also available which detects
the presence of the part upon insertion and automatically begins the
rolling cycle.
